Swamfisk

While killing goblin fishers along a river in West Ronfaure, I noticed a pugil with the name Swamfisk. I had never seen a notorious monster before so I checked to see how strong it was. The message said its strength was "inpossible to gauge" so I continued in killing the goblin fishers. On my way back to San'doria Swamfisk was still there. I thought I would die for sure, but I attacked it anyway. To my surprise Swamfisk was losing health faster than i was. By the time I defeated it I still had most of my HP. It dropped a gelong staff that increases health regeneration by four. The staff isnt somthing I will be using to fight with, but it does reduce the time I spend waiting to heal.

When my first yew rod broke i decided to get another from a goblin. After killing goblins for a while and not finding one i went to the auction to see if anyone was selling one. They had a few at 1000 gil so i purchased the rod and twelve shell bugs. I had a few small worms from the previous day so i used those first. I caught crawfish with my remaining worms. I then switched to using the shell bugs. They didnt seem to work as well as the worms. I caught a few rusty buckets. On my last fishing attemp it said "you have a good feeling about this one." When i had the fish hp bar down i started to reel it in...then my rod broke again. Bleh Bleh Bleh. I'll try again later but ill see if i can get a better rod.

I found a yew rod when i was fighting goblin fishers. i then went to the auction house and bought some worms. The first attempts at fishing ended with the fish getting away. I finaly figured out how to fish and caught a few moat carp and then a tricolored carp. The next attempt said i was certain i did not have high enough skill to catch the fish and my rod broke...bleh. Ill have to kill more goblins to get another. x_x

Feast of Swords

I decided to try the feast of swords event to see if i could get some cool items. The items were not so great. I think the possible items were mochi and colored drops. I do like the lotus katana that i received for starting the event though.

Bleh. So many people going after the armor made it hard to get items.
